READINGS FOR EVENTS DURING THE 2015-2016 SEASON
In keeping with our theme for this Season’s presentations, TAKE SOME R & R: RESlLIENCE & REDEMPTION IN JUNGIAN PSYCHOLOGY, we offer a workbook by our season’s featured presenter, Nan Henderson entitled The Resiliency Workbook: Bounce Back Stronger, Smarter, and with Real Self-Esteem. Ms. Henderson is the President of Resiliency in Action and a Ph.D. Candidate in Jungian Studies.
Board Members Norbert and Jean Duda will also be presenting an elaboration of psychologist Dr. Kazimierz Dabrowski’s work in the field of recovery from trauma and how this intersects with Jungian psychology. Dr. Dabrowski’s book is titled Positive Disintegration, and we recommend it highly.
Synchronistically, the focus of this year’s Annual Event, and our featured presenter for the following 2016-2017 season, will be Dr. Polly Young-Eisendrath and she has recommended for reading The Resilient Spirit, The Self-Esteem Trap, The Present Heart, and The Cambridge Companion to Jung.
The Center offers new Jungian and depth psychology books and CDs for sale at events throughout the season. Be sure to purchase books recommended by our presenters for upcoming events. We have CDs of many past presentations for sale. We have the capability to take credit cards for your convenience at all our events now.
All the above books will be available at our initial event for this season, The Special Event and Book Sale.
Our books are offered for sale at very reasonable prices and feature classical as well as contemporary Jungian works along with other related themes and authors. We will also have back our gently used books table. This is your chance to build your library at user-friendly prices and indulge your reading whimsy at the used books table. Many people donate books for which they no longer have space. If you have books you would like to donate please e-mail us at email@example.com or call us at 954-525-4682. We would be happy to arrange a pick-up or you can bring them with you.
This event also provides an opportunity to learn more and ask questions about, and become a Member of, our Organization. Pre-registration for future events will also be possible. Those of you in the health care professions may also find this an ideal opportunity to network and share your particular skills with like-minded professionals. We will have a table available on which you can display your business cards and brochures. You can advertise up-coming workshops as well.
Remember that our books will be available throughout the season so be sure to stop by the book table at upcoming events as well to browse and buy.
For more information, please contact Richard Chappell, Bookstore Chair through e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org or leave a message on our phone 954-525-4682. We will promptly return your call.
