APPEAL for SUPPORT for the CENTER (CJSSF)
from TREASURER RICHARD CHAPPELL:
You can help to support CJSSF by making a tax-deductible donation. In particular this year…
Over the last three years, we have experienced a dramatic increase in the costs involved in bringing you our events. The costs at one our favorite venues, the Riverside Hotel, has doubled in three years. The Duncan Conference Center has increased our costs close to 70%. We are being priced out of the market, and it is becoming increasingly difficult to keep the admission prices to our events at an affordable level. The prominent Jungian speakers and cutting edge Analysts of post-Jungian thought that you have requested us to bring to South Florida have also doubled their fees.
If we are to continue, we need YOUR help. Membership fees barely cover the costs of operating our organization. We ask that you thoughtfully consider increasing your support of our organization in any way possible – add $50 to your Membership as a Donor, either online or to the checks you send in, or consider support as a Patron or Benefactor. If you work for a company that matches charitable contributions to 501(c)(3) organizations, are aware of potential grants that may be available to our organization, or can direct us to foundations that may support our mission, please contact our Treasurer, Richard Chappell.
For those of you with deeper pockets, please consider co-sponsoring one of our events and becoming a Patron of the CJSSF. We have opportunities for you to support us by sponsoring or co-sponsoring activities that may be of interest to you, such as bringing in favorite speakers or underwriting a venue, wine for an event, or live music. We are more than open to any other ways – traditional or untraditional – to address our funding crisis. We have a responsibility to try to affect our community, through the work that we do, by bringing consciousness and awareness of Jung’s philosophy and approach to the human journey to those we reach.
Donations to support the Center for Jungian Studies of South Florida can be made through the CJSSF online shop below by filling out this FORM, printing it out, and sending it with your check payable to the Center for Jungian Studies or CJSSF to:

Become A Student Ambassador
Contact Jeannette Sullivan, Ph.D. at email@example.com
The Center for Jungian Studies of South Florida invites you to be a CJSSF Ambassador.
CJSSF Ambassadors are committed to understanding and promoting CJSSF events and activities in our own communities.
To inform people, organizations and meeting groups in our community about Jungian Studies and the Center’s annual program.
How This Works:
As a CJSSF Ambassador, you will meet virtually – by phone and e-mail or text to go over the events and calendar and to work on how we will promote these activities through flyers and attending events and meetings in local venues. These are the psychology club and psychology honor societies such as Psi Chi and Psi Beta but could even include other groups such as:
Reading and Book Clubs
Art, Literature, Film and Acting Groups
Service and education-oriented groups
What Will I Have to Do?
As a CJSSF Ambassador, you will be part of an outreach effort which intends simply to inform groups about CJSSF. Your unique position brings you into contact with other students and people that you can inform. You can alert the organizations on your campus that might be interested in attending our events and lectures. You will be given flyers, calendars, and any other materials we have and a Board member will accompany you if that is possible.
You will be requested to wear a special badge to CJSSF Meetings and to explain your role whenever it is appropriate.
Contact Jeannette Sullivan, Communications Chair, about Student Ambassaors at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 954-525-4682.
The Center for Jungian Studies of South Florida is a Not-For-Profit organization that serves the wider community by presenting lectures, workshops, and discussions to address psychological, social and spiritual issues and provide a forum for personal reflection and growth inspired by C.G.
