Ann Q. Lynch, Ed.D., LMHC, LMFT

Ann Q. Lynch, Ed.D., LMHC, LMFT , was President Emeritus and Membership Chair of CJSSF. She was a Founding Board Member from 1988, when CJSSF was formed by Fr. Fred Fleischer, M.Div. She served continuously on the Board as Continuing Education Director, Membership Chair, President, and Chair of the Board. She was a Professor Emeritus at Florida Atlantic University, College of Education, Counselor Education Department, where she was Professor and founded the Mental Health Counseling (M.A.) program. Previously, she was a University Counseling Psychologist at the University of Florida and on the faulty at Memphis University, where she directed a NIMH project and was a licensed Psychologist in Tennessee. She studied Jung and Analytical Psychology and used the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator for over 40 years. The Center was her major passion for over 25 years.



Brenda Astor, RN, DCN, FACW

Brenda Astor, RN, DCN, FACW is a pioneer in Holistic Nursing. Award-winning leader in innovative healing arts centers and a variety of modalities in healthcare settings. Experienced and highly effective addiction, recovery and behavioral health nurse. Educator to university and community groups on complementary and alternative medicine (CAM), stress and pain management.

Designed, developed, and directed the first community mental health center program in the United States. Designed and directed the award winning Center for the Healing Arts at Imperial Point Medical Center in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Co-founder of the Integrative Nursing Institute; founder of the Healing Arts Associates and Wise Woman Associates. Member, International Nurses Association, listed in “Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare”. Charter member of the American Holistic Nurses Association; Chair for the Center for Jungian Studies of South Florida.

Constance Avery-Clark, Ph.D.

Constance Avery-Clark, Ph.D. is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist, a Jungian-oriented psychotherapist, and an AASECT-Certified Diplomate of Sex Therapy. She has been practicing for 27 years in Boca Raton, Florida. Her specialties are sexual and relationship problems as well as depressive, anxiety, post-traumatic stress, impulse control, self-identity, and second-half-of-life concerns. She was a Research and Clinical Associate at Masters & Johnson Institute, has lectured nationally, and has appeared on radio and television including the Today Show.  She recently completed her second Ph.D. in Jungian Studies under Dr. James Hollis.

Jeannette Sullivan, M.A., M.ED

Jeannette Sullivan, Ph.D., is a professor with a Doctoral degree in Higher Educational Leadership and Research Methodology, an M.Ed. from Florida Atlantic University, and a Master’s in Transpersonal Psychology from Sofia University. She has coached, trained, and facilitated groups for over 20 years in Honolulu, Scottsdale, and southeast Florida. Dr. Sullivan’s research interests include human persistence, resilience, happiness, and well-being. She specializes in personality training using the Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), and holds the Master Practitioner Credential. She has presented for the Association for Psychological Type International, the International Positive Psychology Association, First Year Experience, Teaching Academic Survival Skills, the International Positive Education Network, the Association of Florida Colleges, and The Center for Jungian Studies of South Florida. She is a facilitator of Exploring What Matters, an Action for Happiness class in the fall of 2018.

Elise Crohn, BA

Elise Crohn is a creativity coach, artist, and entrepreneur, and owner of Juicy Creatives. She is a self-taught artist and a deeply trained facilitator of creative processes that lead to transformation and healing. Over the course of her life, Elise has owned and co-created several creative businesses and arts-oriented non-profit organizations. Her greatest devotion throughout the years has been in facilitating the creative process for personal growth.

Richard Chappell, BA

Richard Chappell, BA, is a retired Canadian Diplomat and Professional Scuba Diving Instructor living in the Bahamas and South Florida since 1999. Learning to place the ego in proper perspective to the Unconscious Other through scuba diving has become a vocational passion.

Founding Jungian Analyst

Rev. Fred Fleisher, MDiv.

Fred Fleisher, M. Div., M.A., Jungian Analyst, received his diploma from the Jung Institute in Zurich and practices in Miami and the Bahamas. He is the Founding Jungian Analyst of the Center for Jungian Studies of South Florida. He is a senior training analyst with the Inter-Regional Society of Jungian Analysts, and with the Florida Association of Jungian Analysts. He serves as the Assistant Pastor, Music Minister, and Organist of the Church of the Resurrection at Biscayne Park in Miami.
